Resort-Guide UK was first launched in 1995. The site you see today was re-launched in the year 2000, the culmination of five years' development and analysis of the growing tourism Internet presence. The site will concentrate on regions of the UK and not try to cover the entire world, it will remain under constant development so make sure you come back from time to time. Britain has a lot to offer both natives and visitors, and we hope you use Resort-Guide.UK to help you discover just what is on offer.

As of June 2003 the site was achieving over One Million page impressions per month, a massive increase of over 90% on June 2002, assisting visitors from around the world in locating accommodation and bringing much needed revenue to the South of Englands tourist industry. This usage rate looks set to grow even more during July and August.

Over recent months we have been busy adding new sections to the site which in part have fueled this extra site usage. The sites holiday forum section provides the perfect location for our users to share their views and ask advice on different places to visit and for the tourist trade it's the perfect place to let potential customers know just what's on offer. Our e cards section continues to grow and offers site users the opportunity to send online postcards of their favourite destinations to friends and relatives. Our new offers section allows our participating businesses to be proactive with the site and get their latest news and offers out to our site visitors.

An exciting new development in the sites growth has been the introduction of our UK holiday brochure ordering section. Working closely with Carrier Direct Marketing, the UK's leading distributor of domestic holiday brochures, our online brochure ordering section offers our site users a simple facility to order online brochures for over 50 UK holiday destinations completely free of charge for fast and efficient delivery direct to their doorstep by post.

We are currently working on the next generation of the site which we hope to launch soon. The site will have a full national content covering the entire UK.
